Dear colleague,
This is to inform you that in the frame of the Erasmus Mundus programme, the European Master of Research on Information Technologies, MERIT (see http://www.tsc.upc.edu/merit/), has been selected and will be running from September 2005.
MERIT is a European 2-year post- graduate programme taught in English at the following top-level institutions:
- Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain
- Universität Karlsruhe (UKA), Karlsruhe, Germany
- Politecnico de Torino (PdT), Torino, Italy
- Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Louvain, Belgium
Aim of the programme is to award substantial scholarships (21.000 Euros per academic year) to non-European top-level students who intend to achieve a European Master degree in Information Technology.
Since the deadline for submitting applications on-line is very close (February 27), I would kindly ask you to circulate the attached call among your best students in the field of IT and encourage them not to miss this unique opportunity.
