Dentro del Foro Mundial de Ciencias de la vida 2009 (marzo 8 al 11) en Lyon, Francia, se llevara a cabo el "BioVision.Nxt 2009".

Since 2001 BioVision.Nxt has been integrated to Biovision Forum to voice the concerns and expectations of the younger generation.

Biovision 2009 will be dedicated to the contribution of Life Sciences and their associated technologies to sustainable urban development. BioVision 2009 will also explore some of the most active, innovative and promising developments in Life Sciences. Programme: http://www.biovision.org/program.html

For this 5th Edition, the BioVision.Nxt 2009 programme will bring together 100 promising professionals selected worldwide on the basis of remarkable academic or professional achievement. It will offer them unique opportunity to attend Biovision Forum and to meet and network with key scientists, industry leaders and heads of major international institutions and NGOs. The BioVision.Nxt fellow is expected to participate actively to the BioVision Forum.

The call addresses MBA graduate students, doctoral candidates or Postdocs in 2009, engaged in research or other activities related to the life sciences, preferably in the fields of healthcare, agriculture-nutrition or the environment (including Inter-disciplinary approaches).

The organisers would cover fees, accommodation and meals.

It was also understood that a number of partial travel grants (up to 500 EUR) would be available for participants from outside Europe.

The deadline for applications is 19th December 2008.
