Description
In the first part of the seminar, the participants will have the opportunity to discuss the readings provided so as to establish links between specific research interests, epistemological and ontological positions, topics or issues in qualitative research, and those of mainstream research in language, culture, education, bilingualism, and bilingual education.
In the second half of the activity, some of the findings of research studies in local public schools in Armenia and studies underway will be presented. A workshop on the main steps of qualitative research and samples of transcribed data collected will take place in order to allow participants to link theory to practice in a more feasible way.
