2. UCL/Santander Masters Scholarships: This Scholarship is awarded for one year only, and consists of a one-off award of £5,000.
3. UCL/Santander Study Abroad Scholarships: The Santander Universities Study Abroad Scholarships, aim to assist the most academically able students from the Santander Universities network countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay) to spend either one semester or one year at UCL as an undergraduate affiliate student. Two scholarships may be offered, each worth £5,000.

4. Paterson Institute Cancer Research PhD Studentships: For applicants whose first language is not English the typical minimum English language requirements are IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 577 (TWE 5.5; paper-based), 233 (TWE 5.5; computer-based) or 90 (internet-based; minimum of 22 in each component).

5. Manchester University School of Materials Scholarship: Funding for PhD tuition fees only, for 3 years, at Europe’s biggest university materials department, at Manchester University. The funding is available to all nationalities.

6. SUPA Prize Scholarship: The SUPA Prize Studentships are prestigious and competitive awards intended to attract outstanding physics students from around the world, irrespective of nationality, to study for a PhD in Scotland.
7. Nottingham University Dean of Engineering Research Scholarship: 20 Full Tuition Fees Scholarships for PhDs in engineering disciplines, 10 of which will also include a stipend for the most outstanding students.
8. Cardiff University PhD Studentship in Computer Science and Informatics: Funding for 3 years PhD study, including tuition fees and stipend. Note that tuition fees will be funded up to EU levels, the remaining fees must be paid by the student.
