imagenCodeSwitch es un evento semanal en línea propuesto por la Licenciatura en Bilingüismo con Énfasis en Inglés con el fin de diseminar y socializar estudios de investigación nacionales e internacionales en el área de la educación en lenguas desde un formato más accesible para un público no especializado.

Esta semana se presentará la sesión Pedagogical relationships and identities in research incubators: Reconceptualizing research training for language teachers, a cargo del Profesor José Vicente Abad y de la Profesora Jennifer Daniela Regalado de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó.

Perfiles:

José Vicente Abad: 

I am a teacher educator, teacher, and researcher in the area of language teaching. I am part of CILEX (Construcciones Investigativas en Lenguas Extranjeras), a research line that belongs to EILEX, the research group of the School of Education and Humanities at Universidad Católica Luis Amigó. I hold a BA in Modern Languages and an MA in Education. I am currently completing my doctorate in Education from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín, Colombia).
 
As a researcher, I am interested in training language teachers as researchers, in particular through alternative strategies such as research incubators (seedbeds). I also focus on the study of literacies from a critical perspective, particularly in the development of academic writing. I am part of EscriLab, the university’s writing center. In addition to teaching and research, I enjoy singing.
